🍇 The harvest is in full swing in Castillon!

After a particularly hot summer ☀️, the 2025 harvest began with remarkable earliness. This advance mobilized all the properties of the appellation, which were able to organize themselves with the responsiveness and expertise that characterize our winemakers 🍷 just after the Open House weekend.

The intense summer heat accelerated grape ripening, requiring vigilance in choosing harvest dates 📅. Each winemaker adapted their teams and schedule to pick the berries at the optimal moment, in order to preserve the balance between concentration, freshness and aromatic intensity 🌿.

In Castillon, the harvest also illustrates the diversity of the vineyard. Many small properties favor hand-picking ✋🍇, which allows for meticulous selection bunch by bunch, while other operations use mechanical harvesting 🚜, perfectly suited to larger areas and equally precise in its execution. Two complementary approaches that reflect the richness of our appellation 💎.

The atmosphere is buzzing with excitement in the vineyards 🎉, and the first grapes harvested suggest a promising vintage.
